hi yet agai ^^ this is just a great picture and kida humorous in a odd way 1010 one question, how do u know where to shade?? i have shading in my art class and i am hopeless at it!

:-) Richard Svensson replies: "Thanks, Julia! Well, just image a light source, like a lamp or the sun. Think about the person or object you’re drawing. What would be in shadow and what would be in the light, if the light came from the right or the left, and so on. It takes a bit of training, but it’s just about thinking it through. Besides, you don’t have to shade everything. Sometimes you have to cheat and leave a shaded area lighted or you’d miss some important detail."
