This is a poster for a local stage production of ”Alice in Wonderland”. I helped out with the building of masks and costumes. The cast were all young, very talented amateur performers with a terrific Alice in the lead. We all had a great time making this play. You can see photos from the rehearsals of the play here.

Uh-oh... the bottle says "Drick me", and not "Drink me." Eh, leave it to me to point that out...

I do like the idea, though. I never really pictured the Mad Hatter like that, though. Makes him look more... mad. xD

Really nice work! I like the composition; it gives a good sense of movement.

To the commenter Pai: the bottle doesn't actually say "Drick me". It says "Drick mig" which means "Drink me" in Swedish.

:-) Richard Svensson replies: "Thanks! And you're right about the "Drick mig"."

Nice job, I like the way ALice is elongated.

:-) Richard Svensson replies: "Thanks! Alice is constantly being extended and compressed in the story. We had to present that with some innovative storytelling tricks in the play, but we thought we might show the real deal on the poster."

Very good! I think you have caught the magic of the book and movie in a great way!

:-) Richard Svensson replies: "Thank you! This stage show was influenced by many things, and yet we tried to make something of our own."

i knew this was alice in wodnerland before i even read the title! haha! i love this! haha drick mig!! the flamingo is the best! hahaha! good job!

:-) Richard Svensson replies: "It’s pretty easy to recognize, isn’t it? I think that flamingo is supposed to be a dodo. We had to skip the flamingo crocket clubs for the play, as there simply wasn’t enough time or money to make them."

COOL - great poster, full of colours and life! Hope the cast liked it! 1

:-) Richard Svensson replies: "They did, and they made great use of it. You can actually see them all dressed up here:

I think this is my favourite in your gallery. Nicely done.

:-) Richard Svensson replies: "Thanks! This is a poster for a stage performance based on the book and I’m kind of happy with it. I’d love to actually illustrate the whole book. It would be done in a different way if I got the chance."
